My research deals with natural resource economics under uncertainty with emphasis on water resources and resource management under catastrophic threats. My water economics research includes conjunctive management of ground and surface water under stochastic surface water supply, and water allocation and pricing. My research on natural resource management under catastrophic threats includes global warming policies under risk of climate change induced calamities, exploitation of coastal aquifers under threats of seawater intrusion, and bio-economic management under threats of ecological collapse.
