Choice Prediction Competition for Decisions under Risk and Ambiguity

CPC 2015 - Supported by the Max Wertheimer Minerva Center
for Cognitive Processing and Human Performance

Organized by: Ido Erev, Eyal Ert, and Ori Plonsky

  • 5.20.2015: The results and raw data of Experiment 3 (the competition set) were added to the competition website
  • 5.18.2015: 25 models were submitted to the competition. The competition is now closed for submissions
  • 5.7.2015: Due to an experimenter error at the Technion, some of the participants of the first two experiments (the estimation sets) participated twice (several participated in both experiments and a few participated twice in the same experiment). The data published in the website contains these participants. Therefore we made some robustness checks to make sure that the results are unaffected by these participants. We compared the published mean choice rates with the rates that would be obtained had we excluded their second participation and found virtually no differences between the two.
  • 4.2.2015: Early registration deadline has been updated to 4.20.2015
  • 2.5.2015: The raw data files were updated: Specifically, the GameIDs were re-numbered to match their numbers of the choice problems in the paper and its tables
  • 2.2.2015: "News and updates" webpage was added to the competition website
  • 2.1.2015: A clarification was added to the "registration & submission page": "The size of participating groups is unlimited. Yet, in case a group that includes more than 3 people wins the competition, then only the first 3 authors will be invited to co-author the paper with us.
  • 1.28.2015: More detailed descriptions of the results for Experiments 1 and 2 can be now downloaded from Experiment 1 Experiment 2 web pages (link appears at the top of the page)
